Points Of Interest

Points of Interest are places on the Earth you may want to return to repeatedly. In FetchMap, a Point of Interest is a; latitude, longitude and name.

From the Control Panel, you can select a Point of Interest from a pop-up menu. The FetchMap Map Window will then be centered on that point. You may then select a different map source and/or a different zoom level, but the Point of Interet will remain in the center of the map window.

Adding, Delete & Editing Points Of View

To Add, Delete & Editing Points Of View, click the Customize button on the Control Panel. Then on the Customize Window, click on the Point Of Interest tab.

• Add Point Click on Add Point button and fill in the latitude, longitude and name field.
• Add Center Point Click on Add Center Point button. The latitude & longitude field are filled in with the coordinates of the centerpoint of the map window. You then need to fill in the name field.
• Edit Point Click on an item in the table, and then edit it.
• Delete Point Click on an item in the table, then click the Delete Point button.
• Restore Defaults: If any of the original Points Of Intrest have been deleted, you can restore then by pressing the ⌘D, or by using the main pull-down menu, Restore Defaults.
